Sherwood Rangers is unique in that it has the only collection of photographs of all the members of the regiment who fell during the second World War. No other regiment is known to have had this done by its veterans.

It has taken many years to collect all the photograph’s from all over the world and has been done be a small group of volunteers under the guidance of the Sherwood Rangers veteran, Ken Ewing.

Commonwealth War Graves Commission

The CWGC holds the largest database of all those who fell during the conflict. Whilst it does not have photographs of their final resting place, it does provide a lot of information.
